It's called psychology. "We have to keep paying Dyer and other hangers on for doing fuck all so you lot are going to pay for it". Things become very awkward for Dyer and the like and with luck they fuck off. At the end of the season, if we stay up and things are better financially, wages will be looked at accordingly. |
